I'm friends with the prop manager for Bridgestone Tower.  She said we will be pretty impressed with the lighting and such.  Can't wait to see this thing at night.  (I know some tests were shared on here)

Updates on work being done at the summit. I hadn't realized before that there were several notches around the top few floors.  I knew of the three columns of offices jutting out on the front side facing Demonbreun---just not the interesting little indentations at the top.  Will be fascinating to see how the fins running up the sides interact with these. And the lighting is going to be very intriguing.

I hope it's lit up soon. It would be nice to see it when I am in town for the 4th. 

Is there going to be glass on both sides of the fins or will he frame be left exposed?

It is!  Some hanging from the diner and broadway buildings too.  If they may it to the finals I hope more buildings get on board.

When the preds changed their jerseys to gold, there was a massive reveal sign on the AT&T building.  It was MASSIVE!  Would be great to have that again.

Would be great if at least one of the buildings downtown placed a huge banner on the side of their building similar to something like this.

Taken leaving the Preds game last night.  Yes that is a Preds Banner, and yes that is someone hanging up there with a flashlight painting the background of the Bridgestone sign.

That seems odd that the background of the Bridgestone sign is being painted up there. You'd think it would have just been fabricated in white or at least painted before the letters were added.

It's odd to me that it has a background at all. Why not continue the glass behind the sign?

It could be back lit, or reverse lit. Each channel letter might have lighting within to create a halo or a back lit effect to reflect off of the white background or the letters themselves will glow due to a plexi face on each channel letter.
