Favorite State Quarter Design

What's your favorite state quarter design?

Mine are:

1. Vermont

2. Connecticut

3. Mississippi

4. Maine

5. South Carolina

My favorite would have to be California.

My least favorite is Michigan. We've got a state with 10 Million people, and the best we could come up with is a map of the state? Give me a break!

This series is the first time they have changed the quarter since the 1975-1976 Bicentennial Quarter. There are no 1975 or 1976 Quarters BTW. They all say 1776-1976.

This was actually the winning design for the Michigan quarter. Thank goodness the US Mint has engravers that know what they're doing. I can't even imagine how horrible the quarter would've looked if it was cluttered with all the tiny little icons shown on this rendering.

I liked some of the original Delaware designs that were proposed.

I think some of the proposed designs in general were better than what was used in the final product.

In no particular order:

Arkansas (REALLY surprised no one else has mentioned it), Mississippi, Virginia, Minnesota, and last but certainly not least, South Carolina. B)
