Historical Greenville Photos

Thought it would be fun to start a thread of lesser known Greenville Historical photos to discuss. To start us off, Krispy Kreme posted this on their Instagram account a few weeks ago tagged with Greenville SC.

I'm curious if anyone recognizes or remembers where this would have been? Googling let me to Augusta Road as a possibility. Can anyone help?

Looking at Google street view, it is the building at #18 Augusta, across from Mellow Mushroom. That's a neat sign.

Yes, that's where it was. I remember going there as a child when I could barely see over the dashboard of my parents' car. This was in the days before car seats and seatbelts were common. I still remember the smell of the hot doughnuts that would waft through the car vents before the building came into view.
