Looks like Glastonbury is interested in becoming more like West Hartford.

 

They took some steps this way 3-5 years ago, and Its not a bad idea.  It will be interesting to see how exactly they do it though.

 

There are plenty of nice properties that could be developed in a town center concept without destroying what is Glastonbury already. 

 

3 story 38 feet height limit will keep the scale smaller than West hartford though.  And that is likely appropriate for Glastonbury.
