No tower crane erected yet. However, the boom crane and pieces for the tower crane are on site. It’s also a different crane than previously as this one is grey and that one was blue.

Good to see this project get going, but the article states a 10 story apartment building so didn't we lose a story? Thought it was supposed to be 11 stories? Thanks for the pictures and links, Gman.

Nothing has changed in terms of height or number of units. You can still see it’s eleven stories in the first new rendering  showing the apartment building from the Main/Broad intersection. Don’t believe everything you read in the Greenville Snooze.

They must not be counting the bottom floor (fourth floor overall) with the retail/restaurant space looking out onto the plaza. Looks like they’re just counting the residential floors.

Good to see! But IMO,  a ten story building should not be referred to as a "tower" and a building that is wider than tall is NEVER a tower. Need a smaller footprint!

Wow. Huge coup for Camperdown. Huge loss for the former BOA building. How much space did they occupy in there apart from the branch?

I imagine you have to just hope some newcomer takes over the space.

Correct. Soon to be under construction. 

I like how at least some of the office tenants will be new to Greenville instead of just relocated. Sounds like Merrill Lynch will be moving from the Olgetree Building to here also.

With the parking problems they’re having, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chartspan signs on at Camperdown. It would free up that site for TWO by Hughes. Wyche Law Firm is another good candidate I could see also.
