I have attended this in the past and it is a really nice event to start off the holidays with a real small town feel.  New this year is the Holiday Sign Lighting.

Jingle Eve is a neighborhood-wide holiday celebration that always occurs the weekend before Thanksgiving. The 2013 celebration promises to be one of the best yet as the weekend will mark the first time the Happy Holidays/Happy New Year sign on top of the historic Ivanhoe building has been lit in two decades! It’s the start of the holiday season here in Orlando and you don’t want to miss it!

Below you’ll find lots of information to make the best of your Jingle Eve. We also recommend liking the Jingle Eve Facebook page for updates and to keep up with the fun!

Holiday Sign Lighting
November 22 {sodEmoji.|} 6:00 PM

The night before Jingle Eve, join Mayor Buddy Dyer as he throws the switch lighting the Happy Holidays/Happy New Year sign on top of the historic Ivanhoe building! It’s been two decades since the beloved neon sign has brightened the holidays of residents and visitors, so there is much to celebrate! This portion of the evening is open to the public and free of charge; no ticket is necessary.

Following the ceremony, Ivanhoe Village Main Street will host a celebratory reception at The Hammered Lamb, 1235 N. Orange Ave.
