I like it. Even with the surface parking lot. There's not reason not to think that the parking lot can't be developed i the future, but for now it's a very handsome building.

By the looks of that recent photo, there is exposed steel on the front left.  That looks to me like that curved decoration could be attached there.

When you zoom in on it, you can see that they appear to be mounting plates.

I still think its a cute little building.  The glass façade is a nice juxtaposition to some of the surrounding developments.

It is like every buildings designed by Baker Barrios. Would be cool with some great lightings and even better if the entire building is a Room & Board store

I like it - and I noticed to work going on where the "doohickey" is supposed to go as I drove by today, so I think that is still happening..  What I like most is that it's an office.  For the record, from lake Ivanhoe down to the corner at Colonial that makes three buildings with office space, 2 apt buildings, 2 condo buildings (conversions from the hey-day, but still), a bunch of ground floor retail/restuarants, and 2 hotels on one short stretch of road.  Add the Lymmo expansion to Marks St and access to the Urban Trail head at Magnolia...Who would've thought that North Orange Ave would somehow organically become a model for the rest of downtown for urban development.  All they need is a pedestrian bridge over Colonial and a grocery/general store

From the rendering, it appears to be a mini visor with a doohickey attached to it.
