As of right now, I have to imagine Green Hills is their best shot of anything better than normal shopping.  I doubt 5th & Broadway can afford the risk of putting in high-end shopping being in the middle of a tourist district.  Eventually...though...maybe an area downtown can have some high-end retail.

Just to state for the record again, the H&M that will be in 5th+Broad will not be the same as the ones that are sprinkled in malls across America. This is a flagship store and will be more high-end and classy than the common outlet stores. Personal shoppers, newly released items, etc.

Really hoping the she’ll for everything is done by the time the NFL draft gets here. There’s going to be a lot of eyes that have never really focused on Nashville on us. Would love to impress as much as possible.

I think it will be an awesome site to see with the cranes at their maximum height, at the time of the NFL draft. Also, the Hyatt Regency, down the street, will be highly visible and the Endeavor project and Drury will be topped out. Also, the Virgin, Peabody, and Gulch Union buildings will have cranes / visibility. Nashville will be looking impressive with several cranes high in the sky!

No joke. A lot of new things would have been online in 2020 that would have been additive to the NFL Draft experience. I actually heard the city preferred to host 2020 but NFL was like nah we want you NOW.

The 34 story apartment tower should be topped out by then, and the office tower fairly far along (perhaps 70% of it's height?).  But I don't think anything will be open to the public at that point.

It would have to be a trade for that to happen. The Titans would need a dumpster fire and all the wheels to fall off to be that bad.

Oh I am not saying they are good, because they are terrible. But they are not the worst in the NFL. Have you seen the competition for that? They won't have a worse record than the Raiders, 49ers, or Cardinals.

Some exciting progress to look for in our latest aerial images! We spy a helical ramp for the office parking garage, the apartment tower amenity deck pool(!), and the third story of the retail podium coming together (with one more retail floor to go).

^ ^ ^  I wonder if the roof of the ballroom of the old convention center (the large white slab next to the Renaissance) is capable of being turned into an private elevated park/plaza?  Could be a nice amenity for hotel guests and perhaps even office tower/apartment tower folks.

Interesting.   There aren't many helical ramps in Nashville garages.   The Hermitage Hotel is the only one I can think of, there may be others.      Do you suppose that is being done on 5th & Broad to enable the remainder of the podium floor plates to be flat and potentially converted to office or retail use in a future in which we have fewer cars to park?
