Had a friend that ate at Blanco last night (pre-opening) and said the food was outstanding…as well as the vibe.  Got to walk around the development and take video / photos.

Wow... such a phenomenal looking development!  I do hope that all of those new food establishments can co-exist.  Also, I noticed that Apple was missing from the final list of retailers?

Apple Store isn’t quite ready yet. They’ve got the door installed, but haven’t exposed the glass walls just yet.

I recall same. That may be in the south food hall ... with 15 more eateries according to the article..

I think, provided they can get through the tougher months before things open up which I hope they've all budgeted for, they will all thrive. Every person going to a concert, hockey game, etc. is going to end up there first, and every downtown worker is going to be heading there for lunch most days of the week.

Yep. It is in next phase of the food hall. I think they are saying by the end of May.

Walked over for lunch and to see how it turned out..........i think they did a great job designing and building everything over there.   Most people i have seen downtown for lunch since this time last year.   Shake Shack was very good and worth the walk.   Am looking forward to more visits.

This really has turned out fantastic. One of the most exciting, if not the most exciting project downtown in my eyes. Really helps extend the entertainment aspect of Broadway as well as diversifies it. Not everything on Broad needs to be a honkey tonk. I can't wait to go check the NMAAM as well, it looks beautifully done.

I went for lunch and the whole place was packed. It was really fun seeing people out and about like that. I haven't seen a crowd like that of what looked to be a lot of locals and downtown workers since before the pandemic. It is nice with all the open air. Gamechanger for downtown.

Looks amazing and definitely what I first thought downtown Nashville was missing when I moved here. Hoping to get over there soon to check it out.

Just wondering, are all 200k sq ft of retail/restaurant space accounted for or might there be additional announcements?

There are a few retail spots left to lease, and the second half of the Assembly Food Hall will open later this spring. Can’t wait to see what fills in the remaining spots.
 

Apple still hasn’t officially announced their store, but I’d imagine that will open later this year. I swung by to pick up Hattie B’s today, and the development / Downtown in general seemed pretty busy. Post pandemic this spot will be constantly packed.

There’s a few retail spots left but I bet they go pretty fast as it seems clear this is going to be a hit.

You have the Apple store that isn’t open. The 12:30 Club which has all of the second floor on Broadway. Then the South of the food hall which is twice the size of the north and all the rooftop stuff.

There’s a lot to come and it is already pretty cool.

Early on they were worried that this development would overshadow the Ryman Auditorium, but this shot demonstrates that not only is that worry no longer valid but the open walkway actually showcases the Ryman and connects to it.  Good job, Pat Emery and his architects!

People always worry too much in this city. OMG, its too tall. OMG, it will devastate the neighborhood. Etc etc etc.

Then they find out it ends up being their favorite place to go, then you never hear from these folks again. The same thing will happen with the Fairgrounds..... some of those same folks that were opposed will never miss a flea market or a race when it is finished and they end up enjoying the mixed use facility and the park.

The city is full of hypocrites!
