That's the starting point of a skycam that runs from there all the way down Broadway to the stage. That's going to produce some really cool shots.

With all the skyline shots, shown on national tv, with the 5th and Broadway resi tower under construction, I’m surprised their didn’t have any marketing signs hanging down

Judging by this rendering, it's definitely not finished yet. It looks like some kind of foundation before they place the brick on top.

Update. I can’t drive on Broadway, because of busy.

They are really far behind on the glass. Virgin Hotel is a much shorter building, they just topped out, and they have glass half way up the facade already.

Not really. Virgin has been topped out for a while and is much smaller. The podium of this building has glass and they finished the glass for the first floor of the tower. Don’t be so negative.

Haven’t seen any good shots showing the glass on the apartment tower. Here’s the glass on the back of the tower (Commerce Street side)
