Are there any renderings floating out there for the proposed apartments at 1415 S Church St? Or still too early?
 

Either way, lots of residential momentum in the Gold District with what could be 3 apartment complexes going up at the same time and the under construction townhomes.

Looking at this district and how much is changing so rapidly I wish I had made an investment here back in 2012 when the real estate market was cratered.  This area will be jumping (10 years) by the time Tepper tries to build a new Stadium at the Foundry property.

I work for an industrial supplier that is just further down Mint st from this picture. Every time we have had senior leadership visit in the past couple years I have asked about us considering selling as this area continues to boom. We have historically owned the properties that we operate out of and this location has been around a good while. I do see another entity outside of ours listed when I look it up on Polaris 3G though, so its possible we dont fully outright own this one either. I just imagine for as long as we have been there we are sitting on a gold mine.

A few pictures from my walk down Mint St this morning. Photos 1&2: Awful sidewalk on Mint St that butts up to NCDOT land. I doubt it’s ADA compliant and would be nice if they could improve it for everyone’s benefit. 

3, Spectrum Co apartment under construction.

4,5,6,7: Altura Townhomes from a few angles. Only a few still available.

8: Grubb has started to clear the land for their new apartment. The brick building remains for now. Has anyone convinced them to add ground floor retail yet? Mint St definitely could support it with all of the new apartments coming to the area.
