KCI Technologies  (a Maryland based construction mgmt. company and transport engineering firm) will take 7,900 sq. ft. of space in the new Capitol View Phase III building that will primarily house HealthStream. Flow construction is handling the build-out with a permit valued at $462,000.

Also, Clean Juice is slated  for an organic juice/smoothie bar in the Capitol View Phase II building at 412 11th Ave. North.

I dont know if they will do affordable housing but the state is now moving from leased space back to state owned space reversing what was done under Haslam and previous administrations. They do not want to be leasing at the current market rates which is understandable, so who knows they may end up at some point building more state office buildings there.

WeWork is opening a new workspace that can serve up to 1,000 people in 10 story HealthStream building at 500 11th Ave. North.  They will account for 65,000 sq. ft. on two floors.

ProviderTrust will move into a new 20,000 sq. ft. office space on the 2nd floor above Public Grocery in the Phase II portion of Capitol View.  They plan on expanding from 80 to 100 employees.  Currently they are located several blocks west at 2300 Charlotte Ave.

Capitol View continues to line-up retailers for its shops.  Vici, a California-based women's clothing boutique, will open its first location beyond the Golden State.  The exact location in the complex isn't noted in this initial info. Vici will join several retailers already open at Capitol View, including SVM Boutique, Valerie Boutique, Jón Alan Salons, Club Pilates, Starbucks and M.L.Rose. Forthcoming retailers include Publix, Drybar and Central BBQ.

Additionally, the 378 unit Capitol View Apartments part of the development is already 70%  leased just 5 months after opening its first units.
