This building has a much greater impact on that area than I had imagined.. hopefully that entire site is transformed.

I have buddy that lives at Eleven North across the street from the SCRI/Parallon Building under construction. There is a pretty serious fire taking place on the 4th or 5th floor from what I can tell from the Snapchat he sent me.

Reports are that the damage is minor and debris is already being cleaned out.

Wow, at :48 you can see someone walking around up there next to the fire.   Can't tell if it was fire dept personnel or... someone else. 

About 6 stories of the building's south facade are fairly blackened today.    Do they know how it started?

They can be seen at 15 and 29 too. The news report in the TN said that workers were trying to put the fire out as well, so that is my guess.

Some of us have heard the rumors Lifeway was going to the Capitol View project. This may add some meat to the stew.

So would that change the height of one of the buildings in the Capitol View project?  I guess what I'm not understanding is if the project currently has enough sq the 250,000 they mentioned that could, key word could accommodate them.  Am I missing something?

The project has 23 remaining acres. They could in theory make 1 level supporting 250k square feet with everyone getting private offices. This won't change design for the next phase of Capitol View.

Any structure in that development not immediately bordering Charlotte Avenue cannot be higher than the base of the State Capitol. That would limit it to a little over 100 ft in height; about 8 floors for an office building.
