I wasn't sure where y'all like to post such things so feel free to move or delete this, but I wanted to give a heads-up about the next reports in Jim Fallows' excellent "American Futures" series in The Atlantic. He and his wife are travelling the country and highlighting the cultures and efforts of US cities to improve their lot in the 21st century. Greenville is next up.

Apparently Fallows will feature Greenville in a series of articles. This one was published on line on Thursday: http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2014/01/welcome-to-greenville-and-the-upstate/283160/

Fallows also discussed the economic revival of the Upstate in an interview on American Public Media's "Marketplace" program on Friday. http://www.marketplace.org/topics/economy/american-futures/upstate-sc-bmw-jobs-replace-textile-mills
