I really like this project. Memorial, like Bojangles is an awesome "extra" facility for the city to have. Smaller than the big stadiums and arenas but big enough to host decent sized events at a lower

turf! 

Testing the scoreboard today. This place is almost ready for the Independence’s inaugural game against Red Bull’s 2nd Team on July 7th. Individual game tix are on sale now.

Hopefully Tepper invests in Independence and can utilize the stadium for CONCACAF Champions league games and US Open Cup games for Charlotte FC, much like how Atlanta United plays in Kennesaw State's stadium for those games.

Why would he do that when he has a facility under construction in Rock Hill?

This project turned out better than I expected, except for the scoreboard which somehow looks out of place... like they forgot about it, and ordered one meant for somewhere else.

Will be exciting to have this open and back in action for concerts/sports.
