Look at the backside of MCC - most buildings would be 90º - but this actually has the balcony facing directly toward downtown. It's orientation is due N on a mostly SE street.

Meanwhile on West End....Alex Palmer throws his computer across the room, gets up, goes to his window with his arms folded, looks out at Lake Palmer, then looks at the downtown skyline and thinks to himself "West End Summit will be built! At least no one has announced Intercontinental as their hotel brand. Screw JW Marriot, Westin, Bridgestone, and especially HCA!!!"

400k sq ft of spec space, I'm glad someone's doing it and Turnberry more than has the deep pockets to do it. We may be entering our Austin-like high rise boom now. 

 

The design is sleek and sexy, very modern, but I want to see other angles and settings (day vs night) before I make my final judgement. Otherwise, it looks great.

quick observation on the rendering, did they just assume a tower will be built on the south side of KVB, because they included one on the left of the rendering
