from the Gulch today.   That  JW Marriott hotel is so sleek great looking hotel and of course the Westin is not bad looking either.

Maybe it looks better from the Gulch across the tracks than the front.  I will check it from the front tomorrow.  I will take some photos of the ugly tomorrow I have seen it before.  

Well I should be upgraded and comped a room at the Westin this Hampton Inn off the interstate is not as nice

that JW Marriott is beautiful on the inside too.  Now that I have seen the Westin from the front I still think it is okay.  Is it as nice as the JW Marriott of course not?  But it is not bad and is a lot better than that whale of a tri-brand Marriott property next to the Joseph.

I've seen some of the rooms at the Westin and admit they're big and furnished in a unique manner that make you know you're in Nashville. And the pool of death... they deserve some credit for that!

I'm watching youtube channel 'TampaAerialMedia', he does lots of hires drone shots of downtowns. With great research and commentary. 

The JW Marriott in Tampa is no where near as badass as the Nashville one.  26 stories, which is quite good, but not as dramatic as the Nashville tower.  Nashville came out great on this deal.

Had to go into the office late last week and walked around a little bit. 

JW is pulling out the scuffed marble tile going across the driveways and replacing it. Not surprised, but surprised it took them this long

I know when they first put it in I spoke to one of the managers and said I will bet that is a big risk management problem. All is would take was for one car to slide down the slick marble and hit a pedestrian or someone to slip on it and then they scuffed it. Now its coming out. 

Marble is a huge waste of money these days. It looks great but as a floor it sucks.

JW Marriott will reopen for overnight stays June 15th.  The hotel’s amenities, including its rooftop pool, Stompin’ Grounds Market and Cumberland Bar, will open June 19. Bourbon Steak on the 34th floor, and Bourbon Sky, the rooftop cocktail lounge and outdoor patio, are scheduled to open June 25.
