This is the first time I'm seeing this rendering of The Sevens. I really like the architectual lighting, and hope it actually looks like this.

Driving Orange through Uptown is a bit of a rush these days. Nice little canyon effect.

I'm glad that the Sevens will have decent lighting. I'm not a fan of their signage though. It looks like a cheap casino IMO. I do love how this building creates a nice feel along Orange Ave.

It's not too bad. Could be red. Then it would definitely be a casino vibe.

Neither the sign nor the lighting is functional currently, however, there is a layer around the bottom of the roof eave fossett that would suggest LED uplighting from that is possible. 

Fences are down, landscaping is up.  It looks good so far. Waiting for final accents to really spice it up.

They need a swingin' joint or two up that way now. Add a couple of good late night eateries and that end of Orange Ave could really start to jump.

I drove by here this morning and it looks great with the landscaping and street lighting in. (I also love the new(ish) postcard mural on Uncle Tony's.) The treatment they chose for the commercial spaces (a dark stone?) looks good as well. Unfortunately, the yellow awnings they chose are ugly as sin.

This area needs a bodega.  I don't know think there will be enough traffic for its own grocery store, but a bodega would fulfill the small daily needs that would supplement weekly or bi-weekly runs to the downtown Publix.

Awesome!  It is really needed.  I go down to Publix once a week, but having a little bodega would be great for just short trips that you could walk to.  I disagree that it couldn't support a full grocery store, however.  I think a lot of people would go to a grocery store here instead of the one on Shine or lake Eola.  Maybe not necessarily a Publix, because those two and the one in College park are rather close.  A Whole Foods or similar type store, however, would kill it in this location.  They would get all the DT traffic for more upscale and organic, and you know how all the DT hipsters like their upscale and organic options!

Lucky's just opened in Waterford.

It would be interesting to see if they could do a downtown store.  It's a really nice concept and would fit the downtown vibe.

This is starting to make its rounds but the North Quarter Market should open next month. Coffee, tea, popsicles, beer, wine, baked goods, fresh produce, meats and cheeses, milk, and some dry goods and I believe some prepared sandwiches and salads and the like. Should be a cool project if it pulls together like I think.

Not sure what the Farmacy folks are going to pricing stuff at but I know us and Credo will continue with our same pricing models as our other locations. I don't think their pricing in Winter Garden is high so I think it will be fair.
