"Adventure Park" coming to Golden Gate Shopping Center

 A one of a kind attraction in NC is coming to Golden Gate Shopping Center in Greensboro. Its part of the shopping center's renovation and will include a zip line and golf among other attractions. Nice idea but should have been planned for downtown as a part of the LeBauer City Park which also has a zip line in its preliminary plans or at the very least on the old Duke Power site next to the planned carousel and Children's museum instead of a senior resource center which I think is a waste of a large chunk of downtown real estate. There is just too much parking and landscaping planned for that building. Thats not the kind of thing you do on an urban site. A better location for the senior resource center would have been north of downtown near Yancyville St and the DSS building. Just would have been so cool to have this Adventure Park in downtown Greensboro. I'm sure it will be a popular place to have birthday parties.
