I agree it should be fixed. It's a bad use of the sidewalk.

That said, it is rather hyperbolic to say it is "unusable".

This was also my point.

I acknowledged early on that it's not great, but it will most likely be fixed.  The other poster was just losing their mind over it.

Perhaps you could make your point more effective next time by speaking entirely in emoticons.

I kinda like the busted up old curbing... it adds a little character and keeps the place from looking "too new" (as long as the damage is minimal).

Y'know, I actually considered the same thing after I posted that and I agree. That neighborhood and it's old brick streets looks better a little on the tatty side.

But for the same reason you mentioned, I wish they would have designed those buildings to be a little less stark, modern and cold looking.

Still, they could at least patch that big crack.

LOL!  you guys crack me up.  It is so much better now...

But... but.... there is no grass there! I think it will look very weird if they don't put grass in there! How do we know for sure they will correct this atrocity! The saga continues! </sarcasm>

The biggest atrocity is that the new concrete is a different color than the old concrete, if I built a robot that recognized sidewalks based on color it would be completely confused.  This theoretical possibility renders this entire block and neighborhood in Orlando... UNUSABLE!!!
