I found this article in the TBJ interesting. Apparently an LA film production company, DreamQuest Productions, is moving to the Triangle and sees the area as a burgeoning movie industry.

His perceptions of Raleigh and the surrounding are very interesting. It says a lot about how the rest of the country views the area. I hope we can live up to the hype. Being all history minded and stuff, I can't help but wonder what "20's" buildings we have that might actually work around here....I read that as art deco style-wise but it wasn't specified. Could end up being a win for Durham my gut says...Raleigh's 20's stock continues to wane with places like the Lawyers building being lost, itself a former home to a theater...I'm definitely not sure what the specs need to be though...

I definitely can see the Raleigh area becoming a major player in film production. If DreamQuest really does like to focus on filming indigenous cultures, hostile territories, remote locations, then they're in the right place.

Gonna refrain from names, but this describes many of the counties in this state.

That's funny, you should try northern Florida counties, wow. I guess every state has them.
