this Friday 8/28 I will be out at the new Krispy Kreme on the front patio with FREE doughnuts for all and FREE coffee just stop by between 9-10 am.  You can grab your doughnut and step back 6 feet.   Sorry this offer is only for the first 50 people that show up.  Free doughnuts free coffee what more can you ask.  Will be in my Saxapahaw shirt representing my family heritage (Grandmother born there)  Patio faces Hawkins by the Doughnut 24 hour machine.

another try at this maybe late April for a meet up maybe at Optimist Hall where everyone can get what they want to eat or drink  and maybe outside in their courtyard?  I have talked to someone formerly known as rickydavisfan and he agrees we need to do something.    so what works best something on a Thursday night or weekend night?   maybe 6  or so on weekday or during the weekend?   Transit friendly and those driving over too.

I will be at MAXIMUM IMMUNITY by then, definitely looking forward to seeing folks again. I travel every other Thursday, so I'd otherwise advocate for a weekend slot.

I'll be in town next week visiting UNCC with my daughter. I'll miss a late April meet-up but would love to meet you guys and gals some day. I've been on UP a long time and this place feels like family (especially the Charlotte and Norfolk, VA boards for me).

After discussing with the UP formerly known as @rickydavisfan  we think Camp North End Boiler yard might be the best meeting space.  there are nearby food stands.

So Camp North End  Saturday April 24 at 4 pm outside weather permitting.  Let me know if you can or think you come.

There is a beer garden tent area in case it rains on Saturday at 4 pm at Camp North End so rain or shine we got you covered.

4 pm this Saturday rain or shine at Camp North End's Boileryard under the tent.  Here are some photos and turn into Camp Northend from Statesville Ave to the first parking lot then walk up a set of stairs I do believe this is the closest parking lot.  the road is labeled as Hercules Dr off Statesville Ave.  on google maps.  See you there on Saturday!   Last photo is the parking lot.   Right by the old water tower and historic Ford assembly building.   (The tented area is behind the container stack)

I'll miss you guys by a week--back in the CLT for most of May. #NoFOMO, though, I swear!--until you start making too many inside jokes back herein! Regardless, I hope it's a great time (and doesn't rain).
