I am sure it was the massive number of RSVPs that brought down the UP website yesterday. 

Yes we had our meet up under the tent at the BoilerYard at Camp North End and it was fun; lots of stories laughing and yes it was pouring rain around us.  It did stop by the time we all left.  Thanks to all who came out it was fun to meet some of you and see other members again.   The wealth of knowledge about Charlotte present was so large.

PS we found out that Theatre Charlotte is doing a murder mystery in that same area and were in the historic Ford building due to the rain.

Also we are going to try to have a meet up once a month and that means starting next month and even a road trip once in a while like up to Lexington for some BBQ!

well the list was produced of many proposed towers.  our little meetup lasted 2.5 hours and lots of interesting stuff.    Highlights:  The new  23 story tower at Legacy will be breaking ground so

Next meetup we are going to try to have Rain or shine is May 22 Saturday maybe late afternoon at the OMB beer garden.  I think you most of you know where it is in LoSo but here you go

Reminder UP meetup at OMB and weather according to the long range forecast is 91 and mostly sunny.   Get there at 4 pm or my doughnuts might melt if you are late LOL and I hear OMB has some cold  beverages.

Great meet up lots of new faces and really you should come out.  Always interesting and informative and some classified information.  Anyway I will start planning the next one in late June when a couple of us will be sure to be there.  Maybe we can do it at a new building!

the next UP meetup will be at Optimist Hall at the Fonta Flora brewery either inside or outside depending on weather and crowds.

at 4 pm  Saturday June 26 plan on coming!  Plenty of food choices nearby so don't worry. 

Transit friendly with the Parkwood station just a block away.   Let us know if you are coming.   Usually several things NOT discussed on the board are revealed

Back from a quick trip to the Hostess city of Savannah and lowcountry favorite Hilton Head here is a reminder about our next meetup.

the next UP meetup will be at Optimist Hall at the Fonta Flora brewery either inside or outside depending on weather and crowds.  (and you dont have to drink to come as others will drink your share LOL) 

at 4 pm  Saturday June 26 plan on coming!  Plenty of food choices nearby so don't worry. 

Transit friendly with the Parkwood station just a block away.   Let us know if you are coming.   Usually several things NOT discussed on the board are revealed  and sometimes shown in renderings.
