250 Apartments proposed at the old Womans college land just North of Uconn law.

 

they would be destroying some of the 1960s and 70 structures while retaining all the old Georgian buildings.

 

build 3 buildings for apartments, possibly sell a couple single family buildings, and ise the main building as a confrence center for UConn law.

 

the apartments would be used by Uconn, UHart, St Francais etc...  But mainly the law school

I think this is just great!

 

its an nice improvement for the institution and its not tax free, so everyone gains from this.  It also strengthens the institutional density here which will help top maybe some day pump some life into the area around UHart in upper Albany

I was going to post this a few days ago but didn't get around to it. I think it's a great proposal as well. This is such a nice little block. I fondly remember playing soccer over there on the fields as a kid.
