The brewing business continues to grow. Along with the rumored brewery to open in the Sterling Building(Capital Lofts) in the future it has been announced that Flying Brewing Company will open at 314 Maple Street in Argenta. Construction to start next month in the former MacDaddy's Pool Hall and opening in May or June. It will be within walking distance of Dickey-Stephens and Diamond Bear.

Leap of Faith Brewing Company has announced that they have acquired a location in Argenta one block north of Verizon Arena. This would put them a few blocks east of Flyway Brewing. Also, since I last posted Damgoode Pies has open in the River Market and is  brewing at the old Bosco's location.  If it will stop raining I think an afternoon of testing out some of these spots and letting the trolley do the driving will be in order.

Just saw today that there is now a brew bus that drops off at Diamond Bear Brewery, DamGoode Pies, Lost Forty Brewery, Blue Canoe Brewery, Stone's Throw Brewery, Vino's, Flying Saucer (cause they have lots on tap) and Rock Town Distillery.  Sounds like they will have some more locations to add in the future.

Stone's Throw Brewing will be opening a beer garden next to their building. It will be first beer garden in the MacArthur Park neighborhood since the early 1900's. At one time the area across I-30 from MacArthur Park was home to a large German population and a number of beer gardens.

Flyway Brewing and Rebel Kettle should both be opening in the next few months. Also, NLR will be the home of two new breweries by the end of next year with Blood Eagle and Leap of Faith both locating in the same building just a couple of blocks west of Diamond Bear.

Blue Canoe Brewing is teaming up with Conway's Blue Sail Coffee and expanding next door to their current location on 3rd. They will be taking over the space now occupied by Brown Sugar Bake Shop. Brown Sugar will retain their kitchen and sell their product from a food truck. This will be the third location for Blue Sail.

Flyway is now brewing at its new location. Look for opening to be sometime next month, maybe in time for Santa to grab a brew and some snacks.

Flyway will be opening this Saturday the 19th. It is located just down the street from one of the River Rail stops at Maple and Broadway.
