It's too busy to be beautiful and the parking garage and mural work against it.  That said, it is eye catching and the curves and top are nice.  Anxious to see how the greenery impacts but it isn't the eyesore I feared 6 months ago.  Still looks best up close and far away (the mid-range view including the garage is still not great).

Turned out waaaaaay better than I expected...

It looks very beachy lol, esp in the second pic where the white balconies pop out.  Looking forward to see how the greenery/plants in the deck will enhance it even more.

*What is that big event going on today at the park, in the first picture?  Will be up that way later to catch the Knights game.

I think of Miami Beach when I see the Ascent. Not sure but some kind of event was going on over there didnt walk that way.

I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but that mural will probably be covered up with development soon enough, as much as the parking seems excessive, the fact they used it as a pedestal is a blessing in disguise. It leaves that L shaped lot next door open, and I'm sure that something at least mid rise will be going there at some point, same across Poplar Street, if not a high rise perhaps.

This building REALLY pops on the skyline.  (the pictures above really don't do it justice) It's super prominent from I-77 despite its height and it's almost got a metallic blue look to it and the white balconies are so sharp.  It's an A for me from the 9th(ish-whenever the parking deck ends) floor and up.  The street level is still being worked on so I'll hesitant to grade it yet, but between that mural and the god-awful screens, it's like a D- from ground level.

This is your first good post in a while.  Your most recent work on city-data has been less than stellar.  But this is excellent.  Keep it up.

33 floor hike for these!  Also confirmed the parking deck planters are installed.

Man, what a view! And it's only going to get better with the LH site buildup. Plus the south facing side is never going to get blocked.

Went by yesterday. It is so very royal blue.

I think the planters (if done right) will really provide a nice contrast and break up all those blues a bit.  Think it will all come together nicely...wondering the time frame for the planters?  Appears fairly close to completion, would assume planters be installed near/before move-in ready.  The rooftop amenity deck is going to be killer!  Only gripe is that the floors are hardwood-inspired (doesn't look bad but...)The residents are going to be paying high rent for those units, I would want hardwood.
