Holy. $%*$. This project is incredible. I walked by it yesterday and it's pretty incredible how imposing it is on such a small footprint.

On the poplar and 3rd st. side there are cut out looking things in the deck wall, is it safe to assume that will be for the greenery and stuff?

My bad, with my Banana gig now over I'm not uptown every day, I was going to get up there today but the rain would have made for a nasty ride.  I'll get an update going next week! Gonna miss my view of Childress Kline buliding going up.

That picture is crazy. Crazy, crazy. Especially for those who have been following uptown construction for years now. It's like the equivalency of a built out Stonewall. From nothing (except Westin) to a full blown developed strip.

You are correct. The leasing office is on the second floor. The entire ground is retail

This is actually a perfect spot for a restaurant and bar. Park facing, heavily trafficked and an area with really no full service restaurants. The nightlife and food life needs to grow in third ward

So correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like Ascent is starting to pour level 10 and make the foundations of level 11 of the garage??? So once these floors is done then this thing should start to fly up like Museum Tower?

 

I figure this should top out around June

It will be a very happy day when some of those large parking decks start to come down for more development. Not anytime soon, but I'm still hopeful.
