Bass Pro Shops

I just read that article and think that that council man is exaggerating just a bit. Saying that folk from Charlotte and Atlanta are going to come to Greer, excuse me Spartanburg (chuckle), to shop at Bass Pro Shop. And this store is going to be a game changer is shear fantasy. Well maybe in spartanburg it will, but not for everyone. I do understand his excitement for his community. But please. Let's be real

LOL, I guess he doesn't know that Atlanta and Charlotte have BPS. Although in Spartanburg County, like the airport it's a lot closer to Greenville than Spartanburg which in this respect is a good thing but I'm not a big fan of this project. Not sure how much this will increase traffic but there is enoough on 85 now.

The guy in the article who makes such over-the-top statements about the Bass Pro Shops opening clearly isn't the type of person who would say something similar about a Neiman Marcus opening.

This is only a rumor, but I am hearing BMW is doing all they can to stop this project. It seems as though they don't want the potential traffic that will come to 101 and I-85.

Good, put it at Laurens and I-85 where they had originally planned.
