Seems like since CWD has its own thread, Franklin Partners has invested enough in downtown to warrant their own thread. (Speaking of national developers looking at Grand Rapids).

 

Franklin Partners has purchased 1340 Monroe, a 375,000 square foot warehouse where Display Pack is located.

 

 

There is no set uses for the building yet. But Franklin Partners’ officials say that the property, after renovations, will include collaborative work spaces, an on-site restaurant, fitness center, conference room and ample parking. - See more at:

FP also owns 99 Monroe and is currently renovating 25 Ottawa downtown.

A little bird told me KPMG is moving to 99 Monroe from offices in Centennial Park
