The new rendering is not white. If you zoom in full size you can see that it is sandstone-colored brick veneer, with grey/biege accents that match those in the dark brick side.

It wasn't white in the old rendering either, what little of it was shown, but if you zoom in on it, you can see the greyish biege color.

I wasn't sure about it being a brick veneer, though. I can sort of see a faint brick pattern, but in the new rendering, the first floor area looks almost like a stucco texture.

Gotta love the way the jumbled mess of overhead traffic signal cables, electrical wires, telephone lines, etc, etc, in the top two pics, just make it all look so extra spiffy.

I certainly hope that after construction is completed, they swap out the signals with the horizontal arm mounted kind and maybe bury some of the other stuff.

At least at Orange and Gore.

The city is going to have to spring for mast arms then.   If the city had sense they'd have made the developer fork over the $200k for mast arms.  FDOT only mandates mast arms within 10 miles of the coast and even then they're replacing them as needed.  If the city wants mast arms on an FDOT road they've got to come up with the difference in cost usually.
