Homewood Suites/Canopy Hotel will fill this gap. Hopefully somehow we end up getting a couple of Levines buildings somehow. Eventually the CMPD building, Spirit Square Space will all be redeveloped with 20-25 floor buildings.

This will be fixed by an eventually reworked and rebuilt CTC with a tower on top. As long as the tower sits on the 4th street side.

^400 South Tryon sticks out like a sore thumb. It looks so 70s! The 1970s called they want their gold-reflective windows back.  Can't someone redeveloped the facade? It would be nice if it could have a facade like the Torre Agbar in Barcelona, which has small, angled glass panels around the tower, to hide the hideous 400 S. Tryon.

Not gonna happen. Trinity is doing a lot of improvements with the building, but I don't see reskinning the building as being one of them.

Why?  It was built in the 1970's.  It's reflective of that era of architecture.  Ugly or not, it's distinctive on the Charlotte skyline exactly for that reason.

I personally like the gold windows. It adds variety and stands out against the sea of blue and gray.  I've always been fond of CNA Building (red building) in Chicago for the same reason.
