I thought there may have been a topic concerning this already but couldn't find it in the Coffee House. So a topic I will bring up to start it off is news that Moog Fest, which was founded in Asheville, is considering a move to Durham. Financially it wasn't working in Asheville so organizers are looking at a new model and location. Bob Moog, the electronics pioneer in music, lived in the Asheville, hence the name of the festival. While I have much respect for Hopscotch, I always felt the booking was superior for Moog Fest. Will be interesting to see what happens with this.
