^^If the siding covering the garage was actually open slats at an angle, it wouldn't look as bad as the "painted on" stripes it happens to be.  In the above image, they look more like slats.

That's what I thought they were going to be. The rendering is misleading. If  you look at some of the black stripes it looks like you can see the parking deck through it.

Yes, the black is transparent allowing the garage to "breath" a bit.

As trivial as height is, eh hem, that video, among other pics, proves Bridgestone will not be 43' taller than Pinacle.

That is an optical illusion because of the closer proximity of the building to the drone's camera. If you notice towards the final seconds of the footage of 222, you'll notice that it begins to appear shorter than the other towers surrounding it.

Again, I think we need to remember that ~40 feet is really a very small difference in height for two skyscrapers, and that Bridgestone appearing around the same height as the Pinnacle is consistent since the Bridgestone is set back from Pinnacle in the video. The Bridgestone was never going to loom over Pinnacle.

43 feet is a significant enough difference to be very apparent from flat perspectives. The Sobro is 72ft. shorter than the Pinnacle (if the Pinnacle is in fact actually only 417ft. tall) and that difference is very apparent, perspective or not. Sorry guys, but I'm not buying the "optical illusion" argument--either the Bridgestone is shorter than listed or the Pinnacle is taller than we've thought.

^ Exactly. I've viewed both buildings from equidistant points and elevations and they are almost exactly the same height. I'm very familiar with one and two point perspective and 43' would be a noticeable 10%+ of the height of Pinnacle or the equivalent of 3-4 floors.

505CST is spec'd for 543/545ft. AGL, just 53/55ft. taller than the Fifth Third building. It's still several floors from core top out and already appears taller from every long-distance perspective.

The Pinnacle roof height is listed at 417ft. I don't know if that includes the crown or just up to the top floor. SSP did list the height as 435ft I'm not sure if that's correct. Are there any actual diagrams of the building online?

I have a special edition Nashville tape measure. It is in the shape of a box and it doesn't go past 600 ft.
