It is probably Clark Bell as they are doing the NY portion. Not sure who the GC is going to be for the AEG portion as they own that site and they are using a different architect as well.

Las Vegas-based MGM Resorts International has released some images of the hotel and entertainment building it plans to undertake with Los Angeles-based Anschutz Entertainment Group related to the entertainment district component of the future Nashville Yards.

Of note, St. Louis-based HOK is the architect. The firm is known nationally for its designs for stadia and arenas.

The hotel building, according to a document filed with Metro, will rise 21 stories and offer 315 rooms and house will what seemingly will be a Park MGM hotel. It will be accompanied by a five-story mixed-use building, a music venue and a parking structure.

AEG hopes to begin construction of its buildings in the third quarter, Nashville Business Journal recently reported, citing AEG spokesman Michael Roth. (NBJ was the first local outlet to run the images.) 

AEG and MGM (the latter of which mainly owns and operates hotels) are eyeing the following components according to the document:

• a music venue with capacity for 4,000 people
• a smaller "entertainment club"
• a nine-screen movie theater
• 90,000 square feet of office space
• a 315-room hotel with 25,000 square feet of meeting space.

Based on the documents, the hotel building seemingly will rise about 275 feet, making it one of Nashville's six tallest if operational today.

A two-year construction timetable is expected, NBJreports.

MGM and AEG have partnered before with the $375 million T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In 2018, AEG paid about $44 million for four acres of Nashville Yards property. San Diego-based developer Southwest Value Partners is the master developer of the site, which will be home to two buildings housing Amazon offices and a tower to accommodate a Grand Hyatt (under construction and designed by Dallas-based HKS).

The four acres sit at the northwest corner of the intersection of Commerce Street and Ninth Avenue North.

What’s the deal with that 600’ tower in the latest renderings, anyway? All I’ve found on the surface is a set of completely uninformative articles. Does anyone know if permits have been sought? Dealt? What’s the status and likelihood of the thing actually materializing? It looks like it would be a nice tower, if a bit bland (although that is only a vague rendering). I wouldn’t mind it myself, but... I’m skeptical. It seems a bit dubious, what with the lack of official information.

The original master plan called for a large/tall office tower on the other side of Church St. Amazon took both parcels across Church St. and are building two shorter towers (20-25 stories). So Nashville Yards altered their master plan to increase this parcel to a 40 story office tower. Currently, this is being marketed as a 40-story tower. Will have to wait to see if a tenant(s) will be found or if this is built on spec. There is good discussion on this earlier in this thread

I've pictured the "wall of buildings" along the tracks stretching from Nashville Yards down to the Liff development close to the one end of the Gulch pedestrian bridge in my head numerous times and I'm still not sure how I feel about it?
