It is interesting in the NBJ article states that the 20 story Tower One "will sit atop an 11-level parking garage. As designed, a second planned tower also would sit atop that garage."  So, these two could be taller than what we have been led to believe.  The garage at Tower One starts at ground level.  The garage under Tower Two looks like it might be 2 or 3 levels below street level.

If true, that could be nearly 450'

Here is the floor layout from a documented printed in April and uploaded to a permit 2 weeks ago. The garage is only "11 stories" under tower 2 and 6 of those are below "ground level" of church street.

It is very obvious that tower one will be 31 stories and 510.3 ft

Amazon securing rights for first offer, first refusal is interesting. Does it mean the developer will build one or both buildings on spec and then offer Amazon the first shot at them. If not, how would they court other tenants with Amazon guaranteed at having the first shot at one or both buildings. Seems like an awkward way to try and secure other possible tenants.

Exactly.

I think this means the developer either won't build until Amazon signs a lease, or build it on spec... SW Partners has the pockets to build on spec, but doubt they do that.

It makes one wonder how long the developer will wait for Amazon to decide if they want to expand. With all of the office buildings under construction or planned; it might not be prudent to wait five or more years for Amazon to decide if they want more office space. Especially if they can get those other two buildings filled with other tenants already wanting to be in Nashville Yards.

I think the 334.5 will be above ground level at 10th as the other 30 feet are below ground.

B3 is at ground level of 10th. B4-6 is below grade. They are only digging on the North end of the lot and that is where B4-6 will be. You can take a look at the construction cam and see they didn’t go below 10th on the south side.

On the issue of Amazon's "control" of the other building sites, I think the developer could simply build sooner (if the market would support that) and Amazon would waive its rights because it would not be ready to expand.  The problem becomes more complicated if there is a long delay in building the other tower(s).  Nice to have that option, I guess.
