If you start counting the top of the podium where the pool is as floor 1, there are 20 floors going up if you include  the rooftop bar. Right now they are at 15 floors above the podium, 5 more to go.

Protip: You can often get a good idea of the final height of a building based on the height of the crane(s).

The crane boom typically hangs about 30 feet above the finished height of the building, so you can eyeball the height by counting down two or three mast sections from the base of the cab.

^^ This is presuming the cranes are not jumping heights like the 5th and broadway project. As our projects get more complex and involved, cranes that jump height will become more and more common

ok, something I've always wondered and have never been around when it happens.      after all the rock is excavated, how do they get the heavy track equipment out of the hole??

They leave a ramp as long as they can and then very carefully lift out any equipment left in the hole with a crane.

The tower crane?      I wondered about that, but those track bucket loaders are seriously heavy.

Another floor or two to go?

When I look at renders of the building...it seems there are a couple of more actual floors...but the western facing facade seems to go about another 4 floors in height.  So...I'm thinking the final height will be equal to another 5-6 floors.
