Apparently Amazon is moving forward with an office in NYC after all, but instead of 25,000 employees (which was quashed by an effort led by Congress-critter AOC due to 'incentives for billionaires'),  they are doing a 1,500 employee office with no known incentives. 

So possibly the Nashville site is picking up more head count for more roles than the original plan.

Grand Hyatt update.  As downtownresident pointed out, the girders are being placed on along the western side that will eventually seemingly help support the mysterious large facade/screen that will cover that side of the structure and will feature the Grand Hyatt signage along the top.  My shots were taken a few days before his.

Lots of new renderings were submitted with their signage application. Finally fleshes out some of the finishings we can expect on the street level and it looks great!

In the new renderings, the black and white design on the parking garage for Amazon 1 & 2 looks like it may be the actual finish on the garage cladding instead of a giant mural. There is a separate, much smaller spot shown for a mural (shown in orange below).
