Guys slow down, this is not the money in reality. This is infrastructure work money that would have been done regardless of Amazon going into that building. This is in fact for 1000 Church, but this is a case of the NBJ stirring the pot .

This is money that would have been spent on Nashville Yards.

Love it! Word of caution.....I do hope they have a plan to keep lower 10th from replacing the Church Street Park as the preferred destination for our area’s down and out. It could become very unfriendly very fast.

My guess, looking at the renderings is that it will be around 320 or330'. The first five or six floors seem to be about 100 feet or so in total.

Say what you may about Amazon, but we all know Nashville is going to look pretty slick with the Amazon logo on two of our buildings. 

And boy, are we going to be dense or what when Nashville Yards and 5th & Broadway are complete? If you went back to 2000, I don't think anyone could have imagined how active our core would be  in  two decades' time.

Obviously we all hoped for more height in this development, but I think it definitely makes up for that with all of the high quality unique urban public spaces it will create.  I live for those interesting nooks and crannies in a city that really give it that sense of place, and it seems this development will offer that in droves.
