1001 Church/Amazon Three update.

So it looks like they are actually starting full construction on Amazon 3, as well? Is that what I'm seeing here--is that the foundation for the elevator shafts for Amazon 3?

If so, doesn't that mean Amazon 3 will be "steel in the sky" as early as later this year? :)

They will be building the parking garage base up to Platform Way S. No permitting for the 43 story office building has been applied for at this time.

Id imagine that the construction of A3 will be like A2, parking garage base first, with office tower construction starting once the lease is signed.

ALL the base construction of structural support. for the towers MUST be completed as the garage base rises.  You can't go back and build it after the garage is built.  That is a basic rule for this kind of project.  It would be absurd to be otherwise structurally.

Looks like slow progress on this site.

Does anyone have an idea of when steel will start to rise on these buildings? I imagine after progress has been made on Pinnacle and Amazon 3 towers?
