Hopefully it is the long-awaited prep work for the residential tower (18 stories, 360 units), 200 10th Ave. North (25 stories? 470,000 sq. ft. office space), and 1001 Church St. (33 stories? 800,000 sq. ft. office space), all hugging the CSX tracks on the western edge of the project.

I think it's the grading for the park that will run along the railroad tracks in front of the Grand Hyatt and residential building.

The hole for the apartment tower has already been dug.  Its just a matter of when they want to start construction.

There are a number of site they take the rock to. There was one off of Ashland City Hwy, that a lot of rock was going to for a while. Not sure where this is going but it is possible it could be going to BNA for the expansion of the runway or any other place they need fill. Will all of the hills around here, there is always a need to fill a valley.

I do believe they will get paid for that fill as well.

I think MGM/AEG is a slightly bigger footprint, but Lake Palmer was about 90 ft. deep in spots when it was fully excavated. I believe this Nashville Yards hole is at the bottom now (around 75 feet deep), but the corners are still being dug out.

The Amazon II tower will be prominent from Charlotte Avenue, coming into the city from the west, as this photo from 13th and Charlotte demonstrates.  Of course they need to hurry up and sign the lease so construction can continue.

I believe that is the stairwell and core for the pedestal.   Should only go up a little more.  Maybe a separate access to the parking garage.

It is pretty typical to have different elevators for a parking pedestal. Especially one that serves the public.
