Some thread on here, don't remember which, had the diagrams of the building with the renovations being done to it, and I believe the highest occupied floor is only about 460ft. So Pinnacle's newest digs could almost eclipse that by at least 60-80ft.

Even though it’s not a new tallest, it’s still significant. It’ll be our first office building above 500’ tall, and if it’s 34 floors of office space(ie no above ground parking), likely the largest in the city. It’ll break the ceiling so to speak, like 505 and the Four Seasons seem to have done in the residential market.

Another excerpt, this time from the NP...The skyscraper would be the city's tallest, based on occupiable floors, if standing today. To be designed by Nashville-based Gresham Smith, it is expected to rise at least 575 feet. Residential tower 505, for comparison, stands about 530 feet.

Have we heard anything on the other two towers surrounding Pinnacle? I know renderings show 30 ish floors on each, curious to see expected height or tenants. Would like to update Wikipedia page with info if anyone has any.

It will be interesting to see who backfills the existing Pinnacle Bldg. I think the location, so close to Broadway, maybe a bit of a deterrent. Office workers always have a hard time exiting the building, end of day. If there wasn't a daily off duty cop controlling traffic it would take hours to empty the building. It's also inconvenienced, to a degree, by every lower Broadway festival/event. Nashville Yards will be light years better, traffic wise.

Has anyone heard any timing updates on Amazon 2 construction, I have noticed the elevator shafts decently built up at this point but haven’t seen any construction on the floors surrounding. Excited to see it go up and fill that space well.

They must be waiting on some material to start the floors because I haven’t seen any movement there….just the cores.

Construction had stopped until the lease was signed in April.  It takes time to fabricate the big steel girders which would not have been ordered until after the project was given the green light.  That is likely the cause for delay.
