Reading all the comments about the traffic concerns makes me think of a quote from Henry Ford..."If you need a machine and don't buy it, then you will ultimately find that you have paid for it and don't have it.

I don't live there, yet I feel your pain.  The way the city is growing, Nashville needs mass transit like now.  Just my opinion.

The buildings themselves, no. They haven’t applied for any permits related to the buildings. They’re currently excavating.

This certainly looks like under construction to me! They might not have pending permits, but could they and would they put this much work and equipment into play without knowing something?

Excavation work is stuff Pinnacle, Amazon etc. will eventually ask its developers why they aren't doing while everything else (construction loans, permits, lease negotiations) are being finalized. It costs a few hundred thousand, which compared to a $100MM project, is nothing.

So is it expected to go right into actual construction, by the time excavation is completed? Or can we expect another lake Palmer? I know they are saying that this whole project is expected to be completed by 2025. They have a whole lot of buildings to get done in a relatively short time.

Look at AEG section. Excavation done then nothing. however with leases for pinnacle and bass Barry, I imagine they have the financing about to be secured. No inside info, however.

I was about to joke about how Pinnacle better not list a delay reason of financing considering.  That made me wonder...is a bank allowed to finance their own building or do they have to get financing through another institution?

Pinnacle bank is utter trash, I am actually switching banks because they still decline my purchases thinking I am a thief or something, when I have updated my address to show I live in miami full time and everything. If pinnacle wants to be a global bank rather than a regional one, it needs to freaking act like one. F this bank

The only thing I regret saying in this is the F this bank part, that might have been a bit too far, but I swear to god its like they hold a grudge against me for moving to florida or something, or anywhere else for that matter as I had this problem when I lived in new york city.
