Catching up on my NY info and saw this photo.  It's the first time I've seen a photo where the Superhero bldg actually looks as height hefty as a city leader should...IMO of course.   I've long been aware that topography makes it easy for me to slight this bad boy, yet this angle seems to show that this fella really is more formidable than I've wanted to believe.  Well played, Batman, well played.

The Grand Hyatt is having its opening today.  It is being listed as 25 stories. There are 6 dining concepts. Of the 591 rooms, 55 are suites.  A total of 77,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

So very glad that the historic Frost Building is going to be integrated into the Nashville Yards' cityscape.  Still think it would be a great location for another music museum...perhaps the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

Visited Nashville this weekend to stay at the Grand Hyatt after following this thread.

Wow those interior shots of the Hyatt look great. Add the Four Seasons and Conrad, and Nashville has really upped its hotel game.

Had drinks at the Hyatt rooftop bar and lobby bar, Saturday. The whole hotel is really nice and the staff was excited to see locals checking it out.

Not crowded at all, when we arrived at the roof about 3:15. It was getting busier by the time went to the lobby bar about 6:30. The lobby bar was almost empty until around 7:30. This place will get busy. It has great views, is very open and they don't seemed to have skimped on the finishes, anywhere. I also felt that from the bartenders to servers, they hired folks with experience, not just warm bodies.

I flew back into town late Monday night and could see the purple  lighting from a pretty good distance. I knew exactly which building I was looking at but wasn’t able to get a pic because of the angle.
