This is a few weeks old, but Vermont-based groSolar is currently working with the Lansing Board of Water and Light - the state's largest municipally owned utility - to develop Michigan's largest solar project.  It looks like most the array if not all of it might be placed at the vacant General Motor sites on Lansing's westside:

LANSING – A Vermont company wants to find a Lansing area location within the next 30 days for a 20-megawatt solar energy project that could nearly double Michigan’s capacity.

The project by groSolar, based in White River Junction, Vt., will be built within the Lansing Board of Water & Light’s service area and is the company’s first utility-scale endeavor of its kind in the state.

Currently, BWL has a demonstration solar project they installed a few years back downtown called the Cedar Street Solar Array.
