They started working on the sidewalk widening along 6th St this week. I'm more excited about that than the plan B building.

Am I missing something or is this thing not dragging along? I’m excited for the addition, but it’s hard to fathom the timeline based on the small size of the building. I’m no expert. Just wondering.

Its not like Ally Center where you have an entire 1/4 block across the street for staging. Building in small confines is hard as hell. This is wedged between The Local and Hearst. Why do we keep Slow Shaming these buildings?

I would describe this as the difference between a custom home and national builder built house.  One takes it times and contractors are not all over each other but national builders have several contractors back to back and even overlapping.   Dittos for towers like Legacy BOAT vs this one.

Not to be picky, but I do wish they would have gone with a contrasting exterior. I agree that it does get lost with the sea of beige in the background with Truist. Not hating any type of infill, but it might have been a lost opportunity to have really pushed the envelope and gone with something sleek and modern.  Or even bold and bright. Either way, better to have it than not I suppose, even if it is a boring color scheme outside.
