Did anyone else notice that they are painting 55W grey, or at least a pattern that included grey?

Hmmm...getting rid of the red/beiges completely? I wouldn't be opposed to it, the current color scheme doesn't really match anything. @popsiclebrandon said Post Parkside would be doing the same. Guess it's a trend.

I was like...the brick red color matches red brick and Church Street motif.  But, here comes the grey...and it looks blue grey.  I think they are preparing for CSP to visually take over the are with Tower 1 and probably Tower 2 with silver and blue-grey, etc.   That’ what it seems like to me.  It has to be b/c of CSP.

Yup - I saw it yesterday. They've painted some of the garage and a bit of the tower. It's a pretty big change, should be interesting to see when it's done.

I think the thing that never sat well with me with 55W was the ‘80’s style black tint of the windows, with black rail balconies.  Very limiting.  I guess we’re lucky they even finished building it out in the first place.  Who knows how the grey motif will mesh with the brick bottom levels.  Dunno.  It’s just...odd.

Never thought about the brick. Honestly, I hate the reds and oranges on it currently, just doesn't work well on high rises IMO. It screams Daytona Beach to me.

I’m glad you said that, about Daytona, because, Hilton, just renovated the Hilton and painted it white and grey!  Can you believe it?  No more salmon BS.  So now, Orlando has the corner on tacky high rise colors with 55W.  Well, except  for one black eye:  Crown Pointe condo; it’s pink and yellow and I don’t know how the City ever agreed to allow that color.

Well, 55W wasn’t so bad; they did try to match the red bricks with red brick paint, but...anyway...
