According to the plan, CSP will be 326'6" from grade to "top of screen" on architectural cap. 55 West is 377' from grade. 55 West is 32 floors. If built as ARB report shows, CSP will be approximately 50' shorter than 55 West.

I really like how the subtle curve atop the OUC building is reflected with some natural symmetry in the curve of the new flyover ramp. Looks kewl!

That ramp dates back to 2005.  In fact the old OUC garage was demo'd to accommodate the ramp.  That said the Amway Center and garage were designed for the future ramps.  The Amway center has blocks in its foundation so as not to be in the way of the footer for the straddle pier for SR 408,

One thing I noted before the construction amped up was that this area seemed to be a huge homeless encampment.  I was wondering what the city was going to do about that, but now that there's so much work being done right under these overpasses, the homeless have seemed to moved under the "old" 408 ramp bridge.  I'm wondering if they're going to move back under these bridges once the project is complete.

Does anyone know if the retention pond behind OUC is permanent? I remember discussions about extending Boone Ave past Anderson and connecting to Sylvia Lane (which you can see in the lower left of the photo), but a pond would negate that.

Does anyone else recall any conversation about this?

I recall a conversation about the pond, but not the specifics of it you speak of.

I doubt they'll get rid of the pond, though. 

Hopefully they'll landscape around it a little.

I like the concrete panels on the garage section, myself.

Breaks up the uniform look a bit. 

I was expecting the glass to be a lighter blue.

The retention pond I was talking about is the one across South St from ChuStrePla (blue circle)...

The Sylvia Ln extension (yellow line) crosses over something, but I'm not sure it's a retention pond.

I thought AmIReal was talking about the pond in the photo behind OUC.  That is a pond for sure and shows up in the plans as a dry pond.  Looks pretty wet in that photo though.  It would answer the question I had earlier about the homeless though.
