Lincoln bought the whole south side of Curch Street as I have seen reported. 

Hence the name. . . 

 Church Street Plaza when phase I on south street turned into more to the north.

We will be very lucky if that phase two tower gets built. 

Lovely design and it will finish the bottom floor for in-building SunRail station if completed and meets the standard form moving there. . . 

 

I certainly hope so. 

 

I wouldn't hold out for phase III. 

We have Magic Entertainment Complex to compete with, after all. . .

I believe the only building there that is considered landmark status is the Bumby block. Lincoln could push to demolish the rest of those buildings and I doubt they would get resistance from this administration.  It’s difficult to envision this stretch of Church Street mixed in with a modern generic high rise.

I didn't say they would demolish the current frontage, I said they owned the property. I doubt they demolish the frontage. 

 

They are building a food hall in half of that and hoping to build a train station in the next half.

^Im aware. It’s what I’m stating. Is it really inconceivable to think that a developer would want to further encroach on the property for development?

Phase 3 isn't a tower though. It's just a small building I believe. 

60 Sq feet isn't much to be vertical if I'm understanding the location correctly. 

 

Also they applied for demo permits for phase 2 already. Why wouldn't it go through? 

Economy won't crash before 2021 at least.

I think Phase II will get built. I am saying we will be lucky if they build it as the rendering shows. It will be a great addition if that is what actually gets built.

What if they also redeveloped the other platform of SunRail to match the southbound one.  Plus, a bridge between the two stations that’d also be used by their tenants.

I really like that phase 3 if the assumes location is correct.

do you mean east of the tracks, west of Suntrust garage, and south of Church St Depot, and north of South St?

if so, that is very narrow; maybe 3 car lengths in width.

You wouldn't necessarily need a garage for that narrow building if Lincoln was building it.  They could build their parking into phase two or maybe their connection with Sunrail will count as offsetting X number of parking spaces.

It's part of the Suntrust parcel and owned by Piedmont but there's 85 feet or so free.  Piedmont should build two tall, skinny residential towers with access to their existing garage.

Mary’s is in the old Bumby Hardware building which is landmarked. Of course, we know how little that means to Bulldozer Buddy. If that’s in play, I know I’ll contribute to any lawsuit we can muster.

Given our desire to level everything that makes Orlando unique, we might as well rename the city “New International Drive” or “North Lake Buena Vista”.

Or actually, I guess we might as well bring on Orlampa!
