Legacy Park at the Long Hollow Church campus on Long Hollow Pike in Hendersonville is now open daily to the community.

Featuring two playgrounds, pickleball and basketball courts, professionally designed disc golf course, turf lawn, covered outdoor seating and more, Legacy Park offers the community a place to relax and play.

In commemoration of the project’s completion, a grand opening celebration will be held on May 10, from 5 – 9 p.m., where members of the community are invited to enjoy food trucks, music, lawn games and more.

Church Street Pocket Park is having an Open House on Sat. June 17th:

DROP IN/DROP OUT any time to sample the FREE programs hosted daily in Church Street Park:

  • YOGA ZONE: Grab a mat and enjoy class samplings from our amazing instructors, every hour on the hour!
  • KIDS ZONE: The kiddos will be far from bored with plenty to choose from all day long. Balloon artists, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles all day, PLUS a Music & Movement Story Time with the Nashville Public Library! (Story Time is from 10:00 am - 10:30 am ONLY)
  • ART ZONE: Test your artistic eye, or just have fun painting or making a souvenir at the Arts & Crafts table.
  • PET ZONE: Yes, the park is for Fido, too! Change up your Saturday leash routine and join us in the park for training sessions with Bark and Behave, giveaways and treats, fit for a furry friend!

PLUS: Giveaways, Food Specials from Local Eateries, Live Music, and MORE!

Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m. will be the grand opening of Ravenwood Park. The 800-acre park, located at 3401 Central Pike in Hermitage, features a three-story climbing tower and sand play zone, a large events pavilion and lawn, sports courts, fitness equipment, and trail connections to the Stones River Greenway.
