Does anyone know about the timeline for turning the Greer Stadium site into park space/ expanding Fort Negley Park?

The stadium was demolished/ cleared about a year ago, and the site has been fenced off and vacant ever since.

It seems slow for a site that got so much attention in the last mayoral race.

^ ^ ^ My guess is this has moved pretty far down on the priorities list with the financial downturn in the city's coffers.

Ohh exciting! I really need to get my mountain bike back in running order.

Isn't there a mountain bike already in Franklin? Off Liberty Pike near McKays Mill

With the inscribed words "Freedom, Liberty, Equality," a statue of a U.S. Colored Troops soldier soon will be placed in Public Square in Franklin after almost three years of planning as part of the Fuller Story initiative.
